A movement of the people, for the nation

Together, we will “Rebuild India”.

Vyaktinirmaan se Rashtranirmaan — as each of us progresses, so does India.

There is a fully evolved, stronger version of each one of us waiting to rise — and a multi-dimensionally developed India waiting to be discovered with it. ARISE is where the two come together.

ARISE in short

ARISE is a movement of the Rebuild India Foundation. On a college campus, students aged eighteen and above form an ARISE club — a small, self-governing fellowship that meets every week to learn, to serve and to grow. Every club runs a Nurture Centre: a free community learning centre where its associates teach children of classes 6 to 10, celebrate their talents and do community service. The college, its students and the children in the community – pay no fees but commit to learning and service. Kind donors and sponsors fund the cost of the movement.

01 The idea

Individual and the Nation - Interconnected

What a person builds in themselves, the nation inherits.

What you know (Knowledge), what you can do (Skills), who stands with you (Network), and what you earn (Wealth) — is your net worth. Increase the net-worth of common citizens and they become the four things that develops our country.

A club – Developing Nation builders

An ARISE club is a small, self-governing fellowship on a campus — meeting every week, learning and serving as one family. Learning, service, fellowship, celebrations and events make the club a vibrant and happy place of meaningful bonding.

Learning how the individual, country, money, people and business work make an associate powerful; service in the Nurture Centre makes them sensitive; fellowship helps them create like-minded friendships; celebrations and events keep them happy. A true home for every nation builder.

The five clubs — there is a home for every stage of a life

Empowerment Club — undergraduate students. The heart of the movement today.

Community Club — postgraduates and graduates, until age 30.

Professionals Club — all employed individuals over 30 years of age.

Leadership Club — leaders and entrepreneurs, supporting and mentoring other clubs.

RITE Club — Rebuild India Teaching Excellence, for teachers, the torchbearers.

Associates drive the movement through clubs, children nurtured through centres, communities bond through service.

Centre Location & Administration

An institutional campus in the neighbourhood. Any suitable location where classes can be conducted and access to children of the community is easy.

Assignment of Mentors, curriculum; policies, processes and systems are centrally governed to ensure uniformity and standardisation of operations. Clubs lead the centres and manage schedules, training, outreach, community service – allowing localised adaptation.

Every centre is led by trained associates and centrally assigned mentors. Associates are the leaders and mentors are the observers functioning as child protection officers. Quality of training, standardisation of operations, commitment to outcomes and safety of every child are top priorities. Local free centre operated to global standards. The society is fair when every child of even the last family on the socio-economic ladder has equal opportunities.

04 Individual Transformation

Personal and Professional Excellence.

Strong body, sharp intellect, stable emotions, cordial relations, deeper spirit.

ARISE transforms an individual into a capable trustworthy individual, competent professional, accountable leader and responsible entrepreneur — the person others lean on, and the kind a country is built from.

How you work

The five dimensions

Physical · Intellectual · Emotional · Social · Spiritual. Together they make a complete individual — grown as a multi-dimensionally evolved person.

What each one builds

Physical. Your body carries everything you will ever do. The health, energy and discipline to show up fully — and to keep going long after others tire.

Intellectual. You learn how to learn: to think clearly, question well, and keep growing in knowledge perpetually.

Emotional. The calm to stay steady under pressure and the strength to stay kind under provocation.

Social. Life is built with others. You grow into someone people trust and want to associate with.

Spiritual. You discover your values and your purpose — an inner steadiness that holds everything else up.

How the world works

The four competencies

How the nation works · How money works · How people work · How business works. Together they make a capable professional.

What each one covers

How the nation works. Policy, Law & Constitution — how your country is truly run, and how to shape it as an informed citizen rather than a bystander.

How money works. Economy, Finance & Investments — how wealth is created, managed and grown, for you and for the India you want to build.

How people work. Leadership — the rare power to carry people and purpose together, practised by taking responsibility and making the call.

How Business works. Entrepreneurship — turning ideas into enterprises that create work, wealth and dignity.

05 Progress that is rewarded

Recognising the committed heroes.

One point is one validated hour. Twelve Levels carry you from Aspirant to Beacon. Five Stars — Sankalpa — measure your ability to bring people with you. Honours are conferred before the very people who walked the road with you.

12

Levels

The measure of personal and professional competency development (learning) and the value created for the country (Service). It validates one’s commitment to learning and the responsibility towards service.

5

Stars · Sankalpa

Stars are unique validation of leadership and entrepreneurship. They recognise the ability of an associate to move out of their comfort zones and commit to action in the interest of greater good.

4

Privileges

Citizens committed to national development are to be taken good care of by the society. Privileges are advantages extended to associates in the services and products they need for their personal lives. More the commitment to national development, more the privileges.

Associates learn and serve; gain opportunities and privileges. What has been gained remains and further growth continues as long as learning and service continue. This applies to levels, stars, honours and privileges.

06 Social Innovation to Rebuild India

SIRI – The Working Model.

NIS — Noble International School, the free school of the Rebuild India Foundation — through the SIRI model has formed children on this same five-dimension model for years, and transformed its community doing it.

ARISE takes that proven work and distributes it: through clubs on campuses, and Nurture Centres in neighbourhoods. Leaders, professionals, individuals, corporates and donors are warmly invited to witness the model in action and collaborate to Rebuild India.

Money, no more the limiting factor

The Zero Fee Model.

Associates – Zero fee

No fee to join the club, learn the course, run the centres and to be mentored. Associates pay by their commitment to learn and passion to serve. Money or the lack of it should never stop a citizen from accessing opportunities of real progress.

Children – Zero fee

A Nurture Centre is a free community centre of learning. No child needs to pay any fee. Learning, materials, uniforms, resources required to learn are all provided at no cost. Commitment to learning, regular attendance and family’s participation in community service are the conditions.

Clubs – Zero fee

A club holds and spends no money at all. Every donated rupee is managed by the Rebuild India Foundation. Budget allocation to clubs, expenditure audit, management of costs of Nurture Centres are all managed by the foundation with localised operational management.
