ARISE · What We Do · How You Rise

Every hour counts. Every rise is marked.

In ARISE, growth is not a feeling. It is counted, in the open, on rules that are published in advance and applied to everybody the same way. You leave not with a piece of paper, but with a self worth becoming — and a record that proves it.

The unit of everything

One point is one validated hour.

Not one point for a certificate, or for showing up, or for being liked. One hour of learning or service, validated. That is the only currency here, and it cannot be bought.

Sādhana

Learning Points

Validated hours of learning across the five dimensions of the person and the four competencies of a builder.

Sevā

Service Points

Validated hours of real service, in every mode — planning, doing, teaching, leading. A two-hour Nurture Centre session is two points, because it is two hours.

Together these are your Personal Excellence Points. Learning and service are held in balance; neither alone carries you up the Ladder.

01 The Ladder

Twelve Levels, in four Phases.

From the first step of the Aspirant to the complete and balanced social leadership of the Beacon — which stands at ten thousand validated hours, the ten thousand hours by which deliberate practice is held to ripen into mastery. Here, the mastery of a whole and serving human being.

What the associate at each Level is like

1 Aspirant. Has chosen the path; begins building the five dimensions and offers first small acts of service.
2 Seeker. Actively learning and questioning; service becomes a regular habit.
3 Learner. Knowledge takes root across the dimensions; steady service hours accumulate.
4 Practitioner. Turns learning into disciplined practice; service is consistent and competent.
5 Contributor. Visibly useful to a group or cause; learning and service reinforce each other.
6 Enabler. Work begins to multiply others’ efforts; balanced growth across all five dimensions.
7 Guide. Others seek their direction; service expands in scale and depth.
8 Mentor. Deliberately develops people; learning matures into wisdom passed on.
9 Exemplar. Lives the five dimensions as a visible model; their conduct itself is service.
10 Luminary. A recognised source of knowledge and inspiration; service reaches a wide community.
11 Visionary. Sees and charts the path for many; learning and service operate at institutional scale.
12 Beacon. A complete, balanced human being and social leader; a guiding light for community and nation.

Crossing into a new Phase is marked with a Phase Laurel, conferred before your club — at Formation (Level 4), Maturity (Level 7) and Mastery (Level 10).

The four Phases are also the four privilege bands. Foundation, Formation, Maturity and Mastery are the bands on which partner brands pre-determine what they extend as you rise — so climbing the Ladder is felt in daily life, not only on a record.

02 Sankalpa · resolve

The five Stars.

The Ladder measures what you have built in yourself. The Stars measure something else entirely: your ability to approach people, to be criticised, and to be rejected — and to keep going. That is why each Star takes three criteria together, not one.

A Supporter

A person you bring onto the ARISE platform, who creates a profile. A Supporter gives no money. They simply choose to stand with the movement — and that choice counts.

Become a Supporter

A Donor

A person who gives money to the movement — whatever the amount. Ten rupees makes someone a Donor as surely as ten lakh does.

Give
Why all three, and why supporters are ten times donors

A Star is not a fundraising target. If it were, one large cheque from one generous uncle would earn it, and it would measure nothing about the person who asked.

Requiring supporters, donors and an amount together means a Star can only be earned by talking to a great many people, most of whom will say no. The supporter count sits at ten times the donor count at every Star for exactly that reason.

The Stars carry their own Honour — the Udyama Jyoti, the Lamp of Enterprise, validated star by star.

03 Samarpaṇa · devotion

Boosters — because no one rises alone.

Your club’s health multiplies your own points. It is the movement’s way of making sure nobody is tempted to climb over the people around them.

Sessions held

The proportion of timetabled Nurture Centre sessions the club actually ran.

Children retained

The proportion of enrolled children still coming at the end of the period.

Associate participation

The share of the club’s associates who actually serve at the centre.

How the multiplier works

The club is placed in a band on those three inputs, and every associate’s new points that period are multiplied accordingly: Band 1 +0.30× · Band 2 +0.22× · Band 3 +0.15× · Band 4 +0.08× · Band 5 +0.04×. Your individual share of the club’s Booster is your own service-attendance percentage — you cannot ride on a good club without turning up to it.

There is a lifetime cap. Once an associate has drawn 1.00× of club Booster in total, the cap is reached and every further point counts at face value. Only genuine learning and service carry an associate the rest of the way to the Beacon.

The weights on the three inputs are set centrally and published, so that every club is banded on the same arithmetic.

04 Recognition

The Honours.

Alongside the Levels runs a system of Honours — most held in three grades: Tāmra (bronze), Rajata (silver) and Suvarṇa (gold). Recognition matters, because it tells a young person publicly, and by name, that their growth has been seen.

Pratijñā Pin

The Pledge Pin

Conferred at induction, on admission by qualification — when you have completed the Associate Success Program and taken the Associate’s Pledge before your club. Every road begins here.

Jñāna Jyoti

The Lamp of Knowledge

For depth and breadth of learning. Bronze at 500 hours; silver at 1,500 across all five dimensions; gold at 4,000 across five dimensions and four competencies.

Sevā Jyoti

The Lamp of Service

For sustained, validated service. Bronze at 500 hours; silver at 1,500 across at least two modes, including service to the elderly, the weak and the helpless; gold at 4,000, including leading or training others.

Udyama Jyoti

The Lamp of Enterprise

The Honour the five Stars carry — validated star by star, on all three criteria together.

Samarpaṇa Honour

The honour of devotion

For a sustained service-attendance streak: bronze at 85% or above for three consecutive years, silver at five, gold at eight. A year below 70% resets the streak.

Tyāga Honour

The honour of sacrifice

By nomination alone, with a written citation and evidence, for acts of real sacrifice. Deliberately rare, capped per club per year, and never a points threshold.

Pioneer Charter Citation

One time in history

For the founding cohort — the clubs and associates of this first year. Conferred at the Rebuild India National Convention on 12 January 2027, and never conferred again.

The apex

Rāṣṭra Nirmātā

Nation-Builder. The rarest recognition ARISE confers: Beacon Level, with the Lamps of Knowledge and Service at silver or above, at least one Star, the Samarpaṇa Honour, and a favourable review against the Nation-Builder’s Test.

Two Honours whose first conferral is still ahead

The Ācārya Citation is the Honour of the mentor: for senior associates who have carried others up the Ladder, graded by how many they have helped rise a whole Phase. Mentoring of that depth belongs to the higher Levels, and the Citation will first be conferred once associates have climbed far enough to hold that role.

The Club Citation is the Honour of a club rather than a person — conferred on a chartered club for how it has run: sessions held against sessions scheduled, children who stayed, associates who served. A club is measured over a full period of its own record, so the first Citations go to the clubs that have completed one.

Honours are conferred at the year-end Annual Recognition Ceremony — publicly, by name, before the movement. See the celebrations

05 The promise underneath all of it

Nothing earned is ever revoked.

Association never lapses

Once an associate, always an associate. There is nothing to renew and nothing to keep up in order to remain one; the daily and weekly standards set how fast you rise, not whether you belong.

Membership is irrevocable

What may be withdrawn is access — to child contact, to office, to earn opportunities. Never membership, and never anything earned.

Points and Levels stand

Every point, Level, Star and Honour you earn stays yours, once and for good — including as an alumnus, who does not lose the network either.

The one place points move downward — stated honestly

Unprofessional conduct is treated seriously, because it is the one thing that can destroy a movement built on trust. Where it is confirmed, the Professional Conduct Register records an entry and applies a reduction to points and the corresponding Level: 10% on a first entry, 15% on a second, 25% on a third. On a fourth, no earn opportunities and no privileges for two years.

Throughout all of it, association continues, with learning alone. No child contact is permitted during any period in which earn opportunities and privileges are withdrawn. Entries expire at twelve months — twenty-four at the fourth — though the reduction itself is not reversed.

Permanent removal survives for the three gravest causes only. How conduct is handled

None of it can be bought.

Every point, every Level, every Honour is earned in the open, by doing the work. That is what makes it worth having.
