One custody, one receipt book, one audit.
There is one place money can be in this movement, and it is the same place for every rupee: the central custody of the Rebuild India Foundation, receipted by the Centre and audited.
The Foundation holds it
Every gift is received centrally by the Rebuild India Foundation, receipted by the Centre, accounted under its proper head, and audited. That is the only route money travels here.
Clubs hold nothing
A club holds no money and spends no money, at any stage. Nothing passes through a club’s hands, a college’s account or an associate’s pocket.
It funds the work itself
Charitable money funds the clubs, their Nurture Centres, and the activities of those centres — premises where that cost falls to the Foundation, utilities, materials, trainer guides, the monthly community initiative.
Why a movement of unpaid people still needs money
Every hour of teaching at a Nurture Centre is given free by an associate. Every hour of running a club is given free. The Faculty Advisor is not paid by the movement. The host campus is not paid, and does not pay.
What cannot be given free is the room, the light in it, the paper the children write on, the guides the associates teach from, and the safeguarding regime that stands behind all of it — the screening, the clearances, the certification of each centre before it may open.
That is the whole of the case. The people are volunteers. The infrastructure is not.
We do not publish a price per child or per evening. Costs differ from one centre to another, and the movement will not invent a tidy number for a brochure. What may be spent, and on what, is set centrally and published; every rupee of it is accounted under its proper head and audited.
Nobody pays to take part — and the one carve-out
The membership fee is nil by rule and permanently. A child pays nothing at a centre. A family pays nothing. A college pays nothing and receives nothing in money. An associate pays nothing to join, nothing to belong and nothing to rise.
There is exactly one express carve-out, and it is stated openly rather than buried: celebrations are self-paid. An associate who chooses to attend a celebration meets the cost of their own seat. That is the only thing anyone in this movement is asked to pay for.
No cash is ever collected in the movement’s name. If anybody asks you for cash for ARISE, they do not speak for ARISE.
Programme-level reporting — and never a child.
You are told what the money held up. You are not shown a child, because a child is not a deliverable.
The programme, reported
Sessions held against sessions scheduled. Children enrolled and children retained. Associate participation. The monthly initiatives and the Sustainable Development Goals they touched. Reported at the level of a programme, and annually to partners and donors.
A named child’s record
Never a named child’s record and never a child’s assessment. A child’s Ankur baseline is seen only by the teaching associate, the Centre Mentor and the Centre, and is never shared with a donor, an employer, a partner or a school.
What a donation does not buy
A donation buys no privilege, no access to an associate, no access to a child, and no influence upon the movement. It is written that way in the movement’s own rules and in every donor agreement, and it is meant literally.
No donation is a criterion of any office, eligibility or standing in this movement. The mobilisation of funds is not, and will never be, a condition of anything an associate holds.
The Foundation will decline or return a gift from an excluded sector — tobacco, alcohol, gambling and betting, predatory or unlicensed lending, adult content — or from a source that fails its due diligence.
Gifts are pooled and applied at the level of a programme, not of a person. Nobody sponsors a named child here.
A Supporter is not a Donor.
The movement keeps the two apart deliberately, because one costs nothing at all and the other is a gift.

Your gift counts towards somebody’s Stars.
If an associate brought you to this movement, your gift counts towards that associate’s Sankalpa Stars — and it costs you nothing extra to say who it was.

What a Star measures, and what it confers on you
All three limbs must be satisfied together for a Star — supporters onboarded, donors enrolled, and the amount mobilised. A large gift alone does not make a Star, and neither does a long list of names.
What the Star measures is the ability to approach people, to be criticised and to be rejected — the working condition of every leader and every entrepreneur. It is a measure of the associate, not of you.
And the counting of your donation towards an associate’s Sankalpa confers nothing whatever upon you. It is a record of their work, not a purchase of standing.

Where the movement does not yet have an answer, it says so rather than implying one.
On tax — what this site does and does not say
The Foundation’s registration particulars are still being entered. This site therefore makes no claim of any tax benefit on a gift, and you should not treat any page here as making one.
If a PAN is asked for at the payment page, it is used for the receipt.
When the position is settled, it will be stated here plainly and not in a footnote. Until then, please give on the footing that the gift is a gift.
Single gifts, monthly gifts, and stopping one
There is no minimum, no tier, and no obligation to repeat a gift. A receipt is issued for every rupee.
A monthly gift is what lets a centre plan a year rather than a week. You may stop a monthly gift whenever you wish, without giving a reason.
An institution giving through CSR, a corporate sponsorship or a philanthropic grant is a Donor and Sponsor under the seventh partner category, on the same central-custody terms as every other gift.
Nobody inside this movement pays. That is what your gift buys.
